As I was staying nearby, I wanted to see this famous dam from World War 2. I was not disappointed. It was big. Lovely picturesque area.

Ideal for a quick touristy walk across or can take a trip on the boat. Visited many times as it is a touristy must when visitors come and stay

My visit to the Mohnetalsperre was a big disappointment. First of all you will only find german text on all information. Secondly I think that there should be more information about the bombing of the dam. ( which afterall is the reason for its fame)
