Not much new to say...pay the money and make the journey! We were there in mid-October and could only go to St. Bartholomew rather than to Salem and the Obersee. We went late in the day and the lake was beautiful. Keep in mind in...More

We went there on our first day at Berchtesgaden. Time was nice and we were advised to go early. We skipped St Bartolomew and went to Sallet. Went down and walked for perhaps 1 hour to the Obersee and to the Fischunkelalm farm. We had...More

Amazing lake which Mother Earth created here. Hint: Buy a ticket to “Salet” and combine the “Königssee” with the “Obersee”.

Beautifull lake, fun boat ride, very nice touristic area where the boat trip starts. There are 2 stops. We stopped at both and had a short walk in each. I think you can rent a boat and go on your own.

Instead of taking the boat, we chose to walk. Lovely trails around the lake. Super views as we climbed up and then down. The view of the lake first through the tall trees are superb, and then you can get down to the level of...More

Yes . You certainly don’t need to pre book any rides for the lake . You have two options - go until st bartholomew or go until the end of the lake and do a nice walk . The last ferry goes back at 6 pm I think
