One of my favourite lakes in Munich, spent several days here with my children. Love that it’s free and sich good amenities too when you go to the seewinkel Strandbad.

We have been here many years ago but it was good to have a stroll a little way around it. There are a couple of paddle boats for trips across the lake and lots of other activities. A lovely place in the sunshine.

Sorry I really didn't see any camping by the lake. Mainly hotels and restaurants were on the water front. Hope you find somewhere to camp. It is a charming place but quite populated.
