We have been here many years ago but it was good to have a stroll a little way around it. There are a couple of paddle boats for trips across the lake and lots of other activities. A lovely place in the sunshine.

A charming and beautiful lake with a quiet and picturesque promenade. Very good for a quick stop, or even a short stay.

Scenic, pleasant and lovely to walk round the Ammersee is lovely. There's a whole host of things to do around, across and (sometimes) in the lake too. Worth a visit.

Sorry I really didn't see any camping by the lake. Mainly hotels and restaurants were on the water front. Hope you find somewhere to camp. It is a charming place but quite populated.
