Foa a foreigner in Germany, a GPS would be the most helpful if you are renting a car right from the airport. Following the GPS to Oberstdorf is easy and once you are at Oberstdorf, just follow the sign boards to the Nebelhorn. At the...More

The capacity to get people up was by far not sufficient in the week of carnaval. I had to wait 1.5 hours, and I had to take my son to ski school so not able to get up earlier. In a resort where the Talabfahrt...More

Had a great trip to Bavaria and Nebelhorn! It was towards the end of the season but we still had a good dumping of Snow in March to help! Conditions were great and I would go again

Amazing mountain with brilliant views. Like being on top of the world. Excellent restaurants on way up and down for refreshment. Well worth a visit.

Well, not really, of course. However, traveling the three legs of the cable car from Oberstdorf brought our family group (2 65+, 2 30's, 2 kids) to the Nebelhorn summit and the spectacular views of the surrounding Allgaeu Alps and to our seats at the...More

A very scenic summit which features a cafe and a restaurant. The way upto the top is serviced by gondolas and costs €35 if you aren't skiing. The prices at the restaurant is very reasonable and the views are so good it's worth every penny.

Even if you are not a sporty person (skying) it is worth to pay the ticket for the tele-cabin (around 35 euros) and go to the top of the mountain (2224 m). The view is breathtaking!

We were there in January so I cannot answer about lines, but we were in the first gondola that came each time. The ride up & down is quite time consuming, but we spent a couple of hours st the top & had lunch

Hello Lucille! It takes approximately 20-25 minutes for the cable car ride itself. How long it will actually take you to go up and down depends on the waiting times, which we can hardly forecast. But we recommend to arrive... More
