I loved this little museum for the interesting history about Goslar and the impressive toy soldier dioramas. The free audio guide in English or German which comes with the four Euro adult entrance fee provides a lot of background on the history of the city,...More

I can't add much to the last few reviews. If you remember the toy solders of your youth (or the "military miniatures" of more recent years) these are of the type called "flats". Much more than just military figures of course; very detailed and skillfully...More

I got part way through this museum before I realized there was an audio guide. I wish the man at the desk had mentioned it. It would have been helpful, as I'd just done a thorough tour of the Kaiserspfalz and wasn't up to a...More

The displays are intricate and the figures beautifully painted. You do need the gratis English audio guide if you don't speak or read German, but overall experience explains the historic context of Goslar very well. Allow plenty of time.

Nice, small, educational. Definitely worth of money spend. This is good place to do parents and kid knowledge completion on fairy tales - place where books beats TV and Simpsons. There is a wall with different scenes from fairy tales, and you have to guess...More

I have seen many dsiplays of tin figures that try to impress with numbers. What I liked here was the careful selection of themed dioramas and the high quality of each and every figure on display. You could also learn quite a lot about the...More

Not far from the Marktet place, along the river Gose, where the old watermill still runs there is a small but lovely museum of items one can make from Tin. I will do my best to add some of the nice pictures I made.
