If you are into world war II history and if the dark side of the Nazi amry is of interest to you, then this visit is a chilling reminder of some of the atrocities that took place behind the barbed wire and in the dampened...More

Went along with my Belgian cousin who lives locally. He'd already been to Auschwitz and warned us that this would be far more impressive, direct and less commercial. I think he must probably have been right. Took us a good 2.5 to 3 hours to...More

We had a 3 hour tour with Peter Van Den Broeck, PeterBFast@hotmail, and no words can describe the passion that this guide puts into the presentation. His Uncle was a prisoner and he knows first hand of the horrors. Highly recommended

Really impressive fort with the stories of what happened. It's way bigger then I thought and they have a great audiotour in all languages.

First of all, you'll need three hours to complete the tour! But it's very well laid out, and the audio tour will tell you everything you want to know. And that will be impressive!

We were staying in Brussels at Christmas and popped here with the children (14 and 5) and found it very informative and chilling. We missed quite a bit as not everything was in English but felt it was a brilliant, lesser known concentration camp that...More
