Owned by the Government and not meant for a tourist visit. We only saw few tea plants and were not shown how the tea is made in the factory. Non touristy place!

There are only 2 tea gardens in Uttarakhand. Gorakhal Tea Factory is located in Bhowali and is easily accessible from Ramgarh / Bhimtal. Even though it's a small estate, you can take a walk around the garden located in the valley. The factory was undergoing...More

i was there 2 years ago. It was garden. Bit there was nobody to show you round. There is retails outlet and purchased black And green tea. Both are excellent. But you dont find it in market and have not found to buy it again....More

This Tea garden is very beautiful, you can get lost in green and can click really awesome pictures. Perfect place for to enjoy nature, tall trees and awesome views :) you can also buy Tea.

There are very few tea plantations in North India and this is one among those. A very nice idea of a tea plantations combined with the fact that it is easily accessible and enroute to. Mukteshwar.. Definitely a must go and do buy the tea...More

It was surprise being there. Enjoyed green and green all around. Kids danced to the tunes of wind in Little lanes between tree plants. Do buy one heritage wooden packing of tea from factory outlet. They don't allow to visit factory premises.

This is a 100% organic tea estate run by uttarakhand govt. Being totally chemical free garden aims to preserve the soil and environmental by their zero contamination policy. Lush green, spread on the foothills of shivalik mountains with frequent visits by groups of langoors (monkeys)....More
