We visited Kingsbarns last week for their Dream to Dram tour, which is the very detailed journey through the journey towards the distillery today and beyond. I am a little disappointed with the review that seems to specifically mention the café only and gives no...More

We're fairly local but are also renting a cottage in the area with our little ones. On the way to Kingsbarns beach, although we'd had the local pub recommended to us, we passed the gorgeous-looking signage and thought, given we had little ones with us,...More

Just popped in to have a look around and was pleasantly surprised by this lovely building, we didn’t have time for a tour of the distillery but had a very nice snack lunch which was delicious. We then had a look around the shop and...More

We went to Kingsbarns on a bit of an impulse. We were treated to an excellent tour of the gin distillery by Alan. Knowledgeable, adding local and national history tales to the technical stuff about distilling gin. And a couple of wee tasters too! Good...More

Knowledgeable staff. Tours are available but need to book in advance. We tried samples of both whiskey and Gin.

We were visiting friends in Kingsbarn so we decided to take the gin tour while we were there, and (even as someone who doesn't consider herself a gin fan) I'm so glad I did. Obviously the tour was great for my husband whose go-to drink...More

Good education on how Scotch is made but Kingsbarns scotch won't be ready for another year. So I would pick another distillery that has scotch ready to be drunk. And by the way you can't get drunk on scotch in Scotland small pours.

Have booked in advance the "dream to dram" tour. The tours takes around 2 h, very intensive with deep explanation and a nice short talk with the distillery manager. Was one of the best tours we have got. Great tasting of Wemys whiskys is included...More

Lovely tour with many interesting details about the history and of course the whole brewery process. Best part of the tour was definitely Louise role as a tour guide. She was lovely, humorous and had great about knowledge about everything!

Sunday afternoons were made for tea + cake. Not if you make the mistake of visiting the café at the distillery. In spite of the claims on the menu board, there was NO CAKE!!! No scones either. Just a few sad bits of traybake... Come...More

The Stagecoach service 95 (St Andrews to Leven or vice versa) passes the entrance to the distillery, then there is a short walk (200 yards or so, I would guess) down the track.
