Cross the Roman bridge to reach Ville Haute - the Medieval old town of Vaison-la-Romaine and discover the cobbled streets. This fortified medieval old town dates to the 12th century and is marvelous

Very neat to walk around the city at your own pace, not crowded and a hidden gem. Nice pathways with splendid views. Great restaurants and the new lower city, still very old is just steps away

This ancient town, built into the mountain, is quite lovely and once you wind your way to the top of the town, you are rewarded with an excellent view of the surrounding countryside.

Take the time to visit the Old Medieval part of the Vaison. It is well worth the climb up the cobble stone narrow roadways to the top for the spectacular views of the area. Watch out for cars coming your way even though you don’t...More
