This restaurant Le Vieux Vaison is on the road to the medieval castle I have never had a better salad EVER than the the symphonie salad. Eat here!!! Sorry no pics, I was gobbling the food!

If we could all go back in time to live in a village like this! The climb up to the chateau will get your heart beating but the quaint little passage ways are worth the effort.

We love this village, for its roman ruins and also for the old town, which is beautiful with its lovely houses on the Chateau's hill.

Market day in Vaison is Tuesday and very big . Go early to avoid crowds and intense heat in July .
