I live here part time - it is a reve. A dream compared to the hustle of so many modern big cities. There is s charming and very useful market in the village center - Place D’Ormeau every Thursday and Sunday - wonderfully fresh farm produced produce, typical french cheeses and sausages, clothing, Provençal nik knacks, and wonderful sweets. There are several nice hotels, and a row of restaurants Where one eats very well. I suggest L’Estables for price and true Provençal cooking, or LaForge if you prefer expensive haut cuisine. The small church is charming, as are the small chemin that wander throughout the village. Sadly - Le Tabac D’Ormeau - does not stay open much, never in the evening ... which is tragic. Typically Le Tabac is the heart of any french village ... and Ramatuelle needs it’s tabac open! Perhaps something the mayor and his government should remedy. The old vilage is quite nice to see. There are parking places available for those going by car. We went for lunch at 2pm and most restaurants were already closed. If you are planning to have lunch there best to go around 1 pm.

If you visit the pitctureresque old and charming village of Ramatuelle you can have very good informations and excellent advice in this tourist office what news and what to do in the region, concerts, museums, private locations etc. very large offers and propositions.
