This extraordinary Cathedral is worthy of a visit just for its history having been heavily damaged during the Wars of Religion, rebuilt several times and it contains the scars of this. It has a vast expanse of space and interesting remains of frescos...music plays gently...More

Wonderful cathedral, oozes history; worth a detour. Fine example of Romanesque architecture. The sheer size of the place is impressive and awe-inspiring.

Made two teenage girls fall silent in awe! Something to be said for the incredible interior and its peaceful and calm atmosphere. There are several miniature chapels along one side along with beautiful stain glass windows, a really beautiful building and a definite must-see if...More

We enjoyed visiting this cathedral. Interesting to read about which parts of the cathedral were built when and why. Some unusual architectural elements. In the heart of the older section of town, which is lovely for strolling around.

We were lucky enough to hear the organist practising for a performance that was due to take place later that evening. Amazing sound. The cathedral is a lovely medieval one like many others in France. There is a market place surrounding it in which you...More
