Cabourg is a lovely place for a visit, we enjoyed wandering. The promenade is well looked after and even. Ate on the front, such a nice setting. The market was good (on a Wednesday) with some real comedians ... It really is old fashioned charm....More

Few decent bars and restaurants where you can sit and people watch Not over the top priced. Clean and less frenetic than a lot of promenades. I liked it a lot.

Dotted with places to, benches from which you can scan the scenery and a great place for a romantic stroll.

We tend to visit in late May and again in September, so have not seen evidence of this but historical photographs of the area do show the traditional blue and white windbreaks and little tents, so I assume it is possible. I... More
