This could be thought of as the Beziers main drag, with a large pedestrian area down the centre, through the trees, and wide roads and pavements either side, with shops and restaurants. I've given it three stars to reflect my uncertainty about how it will...More

Beziers historically must have been a very wealthy town for the main avenue through the centre of town is spectacular in size effectively running down the slope of the old town from top to bottom. It is very wide with the main road running either...More

This main alley of trees is a major attraction in Beziers. The trees are beautiful and offer good shade in the summer months. Lined on either side by shops and cafes, it is a lovely spot to visit.

It's under major construction works at the moment so it's not the prettiest right now but it's a good place to wander and check out the shops and restaurants in the vicinity.

We really enjoy visiting Beziers and this boulevard is one of the reasons. It is a classic French boulevard with cafe culture. Beziers adds a touch of elegance when surrounded by seaside resorts. Plentiful parking and easily strollable.

Great party atmosphere. 5€ gets you three tickets that you can exchange for glasses of wine at the stalls run by local producers that line the Allees. There is also entertainment and food. I had some delicious suckling pig.

The plaza was under construction while I was there in July but it looks to be pretty nice once finished. There are some great views over the stairway.

Great destination to meet friends, visit the market and shop. Or chill out at one of the many cafés with a cool drink and a good book. This is the hub of the city, where locals and tourists mingle. There is a good market twice...More
