This place should be known and visited like Drancy ! More than 40.000 people were deported from that former military camp turned into a concentration camp by Nazis. Buildings still there... amazing

A very frank presentation of the establishment of the Vichy government and the subsequent internment and deportation of thousands of detainees. Not a subject that is easily broached or experienced but the memorial does a very good job of tackling this sobering topic. Thought provoking...More
