A place you can not miss if you are interested in the history of classic photography. Free entrance and exceptionally friendly staff.

Chalon is known for its history of photo/image this museum has crazy old cameras and funny techniques to show the process of making a photo.

This museum contains antiques of photography such as daguerreotypes but also has a semi permanent exhibitions of different contemporary photography. A must see for photography lovers!

This museum dedicated to the famed photographer is well worth the trip. Besides information about him and his art there is usually an good exhibit of photos. Not a large museum, it is suitable for children also.

This photography museum is entirely free. It exhibits multiple very old cameras and daguerréotypes. There are also multiple movies and one interactive very old 3D pictures. 1 hour is enough to see most of it. Not much is done for kids.
