Absolutely gorgeous place. Views are really breathtaking 360°. It’s free, you pay only for parking. Quite windy up there, but worth every step it takes to get there.

This is not the easiest of climbs but it is worth the effort for the views. There is a charge at the car park which I thought was a little steep for a relatively short stay, but it was worth it. Don't be afraid to...More

The Great Dune of Pilat is a great big sand dune. You can walk up it and walk down it, although you can't walk down it until you've walked up it. It's a great place to visit and enjoy just being on top of a...More

Climbing this sand dune is moderately difficult but worthwhile. The views are stunning and worth the effort.

The Dune of Pilat is the highest sand dune of Europe. One can climb to the top via the rather steep sand dunes but it is slightly easier to do so via the 154 steps to the top. Then you have to walk onto a...More
