The views from the tomb on the hill are breathtaking. Visitors have stacked stones everywhere on the hill. Very little else to see as reflected in the other reviews. The drive to the tomb is around the mountains. The roads are quiet and the route...More

Homer’s Tomb. When we hired a quad our first destination was Homers Tomb. The landsacape on the way to the tomb was beautiful and the tarmac road was in excellent condition (not like the usual Greek roads). We came across some pretty purple flowers and...More

Not much to see at the tomb, but the views were good and the walk was easy. No charge to get in and not crowded.

This is a fictive "monument" that has nothing to do with the mythical/historical Homer. Except for the view towards Naxos and Paros and the view of the interior of the island along the road, it is not worth the long drive.

We enjoyed the drive to Homers tomb and found the views and the surrounding area very beautiful. You have to park about a 10 minute walk from the actual location and the path is not suitable for wheelchairs. Well worth the visit.
