If he really lived on Earth or not, this is not important: for me he sleeps here, in Ios, his mother's native island, forever. And the only thing I can think seating close his burial grave is: one day I would sleep here with him.

instead of looking for this tomb it is much better to climb up the main hill of the city and visit 3 beautiful small white churches at the top of it, then enjoy breathtaking views ...

The so-called Homer's Tomb is at the far north of the island and well worth a trip (assuming you have transport). Empty roads, an exposed and isolated setting with lots of atmosphere and no people.

A great hike that gets you to a small Gill with great view. Need to walk 10 minutes(uphill and stairs). Used sneakers

Nice place, with wonterfoull view on the sea. very nice the street to come here. there ise nothing, no bar or restaurant. but if you like story have to go! i dont stay but i think it is nice at night for see the stars
