The alabaster museum is a waste of time. The pinacoteca has a hodge podge of paintings with a couple of standout works. But enormously frustrating for the lack of labels in any language. Probably not rewarding unless you already know Tuscan Renaissance painting in some...More
Was great to get away from the religious exhibitions and enjoy art fro its own sake. Was fairly quiet while we were there which was also a bonus. A hidden gem. I almost didn't want to comment in case it gets too popular.
Again one of the Volterra 6 and parts one of the real highlights. It was very quiet when we visited. Very good exhibition of pop icons including the Beatles and Stones. Fascinating film exhibition with a film show to watch.
