A small, beautiful medieval town. Visit when the festival is on to see processions through the town and the spectical of the 5 ton Machinni travel through the town!

The quickest way is the train from Rome to Orte and then Orte to viterbo. There are some trains from Rome directly to viterbo but most trains are very long winded. So best rome to Orte then Orte to viterbo! Once in viterbo... More

Hi, of course I advise you to visit Viterbo because it is a beautiful city and it has a center full of history. We celebrate S.Rosa always on 3rd of september, but in october is nice visit this city. Bye bye
