I really enjoyed the boat tour of the islands. The cristalline water and beautiful sea colors made my day. I liked the stop at Isola San Nicola where there is a beautiful church, panoramic view, and a nice trattoria where we ate a delicious lunch.

Two hour boat journey each way enables you to visit these lovely islands in the Adriatic. The additional boat excursion around the entire archipelago is really worthwhile. The sea really is clear blue and is beautiful for swimming in should you wish to. Snacks available on board the boat at very reasonable prices.
Only slight negative is that Any information/ commentary was done solely in Italian.

We took the ferry and reached the island. This place is so beautiful that it relaxes you completely. Both my friends were swimming in crystal clear water all the time. We had drinks on the island and went back to Termoli in the evening by the ferry. Its a must visit and the ferry ride is amazing.

-The hour trip to the Tremiti is well worth it, even if it was long.
The sapphire blue clear water, the grottoes and the rocky coves are great.
-nothing in Italy is well organised and people on the whole are very rude when it comes to the pushing their way to the front of the line
-safety should be paramount. Nothing happened on our trip
Just buy your return ticket in Termoli. There are plenty of companies selling tour tickets.

Don't bother buying your ferry ticket online! You have to have it printed off or can have it done at the port but it still means queueing and also you can get it cheaper at the port in Termoli anyway. Once it's done boarding is easy and quick if you're a foot passenger.
*WARNING* if you have luggage, even a small suitcase, it has to be left downstairs either by the car hold or on a luggage rack. There is no security for this so you are rather relying on faith here.
Crossing was easy enough, only took an hour. When you get to the island you are met with a flurry of taxis, boat tour sellers, beach umbrella offers etc. There are no real signposts to where you might want to head but absolutely do not go to the first beach right at the port. Why would you when with a little exploration you can find a little piece of paradise.
Many of these little bays are secluded and all are a little tricky to get to. Bring your trainers, at least, and expect some gentle trekking. Paths aren't bad but but steep and the fir pines on the floor make it a little spiky and slippery. You may have to tackle a few paths before you find one that you can actually access the water from and still be able to get out again, but it is totally worth it! Crystal clear waters, blue sky and glorious sunshine (unless it's raining). I'd advise bringing water shoes. The rocks are rough and painful in bare feet, plus it's also very steep so flip flops tend to slip off and make walking treacherous.
This place is absolutely stunning and a little bit of paradise. I would strongly advise you make a trip to Tremiti Islands, you won't be sorry!!

Thanks to David from Miramar we have had a great day on the Island. Started with some great sdvices when to be at the Harbour to avoid the traffic, followed by getting the tickets outside the usual cue and he linked us to a local boat rental station and organized everything that we just picked it up and had a great day bathing in nice lagunes. I would always do it again.

I loved walking around and seeing the historical sites. We took a boat ride immediately from the ferry around the islands and then went to walk/tour the small island and loved our day.

Grazie
