This old fontana is at the end of the Roman Aquaduct that is such a graceful and photogenic entrance to the grand Piazza in Sulmona town. Be sure to carry a water bottle and fill it here for refreshment on a hot summers day!

We visited Pulmona for a day and noticed this fountain at the roadside. It looks ornate and sits at the end of the quaduct. However although the fountain is historic and pretty it's setting and the fact its sat almost as street furniture doesn't suggest...More
