I happen to absolutely love the history and artistry of Italian artisans, and this is the birthplace of confetti. Confetti is a hard shelled candy with chocolate inside, think high end MnM's! The Italians have turned this into an absolute confectionary treat! The museum is...More

The museum is moderately interesting but the showroom where you can purchase a wide range of Pelino confetti is definitely worth a visit. About a ten minute walk from the center of town.

This is where the famous confection known as confetti was born and since the 1700's kept its reputation as the best in the world. The museum is an entertaining step back to the history of this wonderful product.

We drove out of town to the museum and looked around as we did know much about this tradition. The video was enlightening but the factory was closed so we could not tour it. We did buy some to take back to Australia as gifts.
