The Piazza is just lovely with the remnant facade of a earthquake torn church and an ancient aqueduct. Go at sunset for optimal effect!

Piazza Garibaldi was a large square with a fountain in the middle that looked great at night. A few bars around the perimeter to enjoy a drink and admire the view. Also allowed a lot of stalls for the weekly market

During our stay in Sulmona there was a series of concerts being held in Piazza Garibaldi. It was wonderful as the music carried through the town. The piazza also has a fish monger open during the day (we visited) and restaurants etc... The market was...More
