Also known as the Scala Mobile. A series of escalators to get you up to the top of the hill, or you can get off at a couple of places on the way up.

Since the town is spread on a steep hill, this mode of people mover is ideal to get around the town with minimal effort. One can park at ponziana and take this sliding carpet up to the castle

We were bracing ourselves for the long trek to the top of the hill when we discovered these safe, clean people movers that took us to the top in mere moments!

Very useful to reach the Rocca Albornoziana, but what a pity that it close very early in the night, leaving the town isolated a little bit. They could use a method to light the escalator only when somebody is approaching.... very simple
