Incredibly narrow "vicoli" between dilapidated buildings, gives a flavor of the "true Sanremo" with tiny shops and small restaurants - including good ones like Ipazia and Porta Verde

We had our appartement on the top of the stairs, they are kind of tough to get up but completly worth it. The streets are beautifull and the view from the top is almost breathtaking

Talk a walk through the maze of old streets, alleys and squares. A visit to the food market is a must. This is the real heart of Sanremo.

The piazza itself is lively. And with cafes and restaurants and shops. The market Hall is quite ugly from the outside. Inside there is the usual stalls with fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat ans specialities like olives and oil. Not very big, and a little disappointing...More

Interesting old part of San Remo. Very steep so wear strong shoes. History boards and walking route information are dotted around to help you. We went on a Monday morning in February and it was lovely and quiet. Views are great. Recommended.

It is a dedalus of uphill narrow alleys and streets. It should be visited with daylight, since lately it became the "lieu " of refugees traffiching with faked leather goods. Bea & Gianni Novelli Geneva, Switzerland

Great walking visit to this old area of the town. Lots of climbing but worth the effort. Amazingly well preserved.

Beautiful exciting place to visit, especially for someone interested in history and buildings. Uneven cobbled steps so good footwear is recommended. The view from the top is breathtaking (almost as much as the climb there!) 😊

We wandered through the archway from Via Palazzo towards this ancient attraction in Sanremo. It was a cool day which was why we chose to do this walk. I have to say the signposting is a bit confusing. We chose what was meant to be...More
