No cars. Lots of Baroque color and architecture and a trolley train running through the souvenir shops make for a somewhat artificial feeling experience.after Modica, a place where many more people live (Ragusa Superiore is the real life in this/ese town/s). But don’t miss it...More

Beautiful city to walk around in! Lovely for a short break! I do not recommend using a car to get around as the streets are far to narrow and you would miss most of the detail.

Well worth a visit to this old part of Ragusa. It was severely damage in the earthquake of 1693. The rich moved across the valley to the other hill and built the new town. The old town was rebuilt and retains the old narrow streets...More

Due tobthe heat I opted for the bus about half way there and on the way back. It is a pretty spot although not much was open after 4 pm which was disappointing. It's a nice spot to have a wander, grab a bite to...More

A breathtaking and unique location. An old town, which is where we stayed (and so should you) and a more ordinary newer town.

A UNESCO site well worth the drive up the mountain. Lots of beautiful buildings, a small train which takes you round the outside of the city for the views and to see the main buildings. Nice restaurants, shops and park worth a visit for the...More

My favorite town for a quiet, charm, truly Italian experience... get lost in the stairs to somewhere... and connect with the ancient spot... the Giardini Eblei and the amazing landscapes around.

Yep, you can find street parking everywhere in Ragusa and also in Ragusa Ibla but you'd better rent a small car because the streets are very narrow! There is also plenty of parking outside the walls of Ragusa Ibla so you can... More

Not sure if it’s too late to respond? But we stayed around the corner from the bus stop in Ibla ( much more scenic than upper Ragusa) in an amazing Airbnb owned by Biagio. There is a restaurant in the hotel across the street... More
