Nice village, traditional and historic village with narrow streets and a lot of churches and a nice park as well. a number of nice cafeterias and restaurants available. Also there is available a small train to go around the city.

Great place, wander through old buildings & piazzas, in and out of fancy churches, generally a typical old mediterranean type town. Abundant cafes for meals and gelato, taxis and buses available to return to Ragusa if you walked in.

So pretty to just walk around the small streets of Ragusa Ibla. From my hotel just outside Ragusa Ibla, I did a morning run around the whole of Ragusa Ibla which was a nice 5k. Very hilly but you get some amazing views. My favorite...More

Impressive churches, narrow winding streets a great spot. Probably mobbed during the school holidays. Lovely park with 2 churches at the end of town.

The baroque hill towns are hot because of the BBC mysteries filmed there. If you know the shows, find guides to which buildings they have filmed at. But otherwise just appreciate these wonderful locations.

It is like being in a crib, by far one of my favorite cities in Sicily, would go over and over and over again.

I strongly recommend descending towards Ragusa Ibla from the bigger and more sprawling Ragusa. That way you get the amazing views of the town perched on top of its rocky outcrop. There are pedestrian steps (Le Scale) and they are not overly challenging. We parked...More

There is some. Early May on a Saturday evening was not a problem. Plenty of spaces. What it is like in the school holidays I daren’t guess!

I preferred Ragusa Ibla. It is the older part of the City I stayed at a lovely hotel near the shuttle stop in Ibla. Hotel Dell’Orologico. It has multiple detached rooms in the area that are wonderful. Ciao!
