Hard to know what to say other than to acknowledge the terrible damage to this architectural masterpiece. Only the facade remains standing after the October 2016 earthquake. It appears reconstruction is under way but there's a long way to go. Visited 9 June 2017.

I can't really add to what others have said. Super church with a wonderful history. Don't miss the crypt. Make sure you hear the monks chanting.

It was a special experience to attend the evening service and quite interesting to learn more about Benedictine monks.

If you visit Norcia you must visit this church when a service is on. The Gregorian Chant is wonderful and the sense of peace and tranquility a shear joy. You will feel mentally refreshed and alive and happy.

Nice basilica , nice stone columns for taking pictures. There is nice statue and the interior of the basilica is impressive.

Right in the town square is this beautiful old church. Every evening at 7:40 the monks chant the evening prayers. Wait outside beforehand and they will invite you in! No charge!

Wanted to look round but closed while they put the Hoover round. You could still see through the door, but as there are many other local churches, it wasn't the end of the world.
