- Siciliamo Cooking WorkshopScicli, Italy1 contributionDelicious ExperienceGreat wine and marsala tasting experience supported by delicious sicilian snacks and pastries. Very nice owners explain everything about the products and answer every question you might have. We had a lovely time and learned a lot about the products, highly recommend if you are in the area.Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 April 2023
- JMT8 contributionsExcellent wine tastingEmailed mid morning to ask if we could attend a tasting. They said come along that afternoon for wine and nibbles. I said I have Coeliac disease, they said no problem. They were really friendly and provided some great gluten free nibbles at very short notice. We tried about 10 different wines. Very well priced and would definitely recommend. We stayed just over an hour, it’s more a testing rather than a tour although there was a talk on the history of the company and the different types of Marsala wine.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 14 June 2023
- CateNorth Wales, United Kingdom16 contributionsGreat way to try local winesHighly recommend. After reading some of the reviews, we contacted the winery and booked for the next day. We took our 3 sons aged 18 - 23 and they really enjoyed it too, desptie being beer drinkers usually. The talk and tour was in English, which was handy, as our Italian is pretty ropey and it was very interesting and entertaining. There were aobut 12 wines to taste afterwards and almost a buffet to accompany them. It was a really fun way to spend a few hours and try some different wines.Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 22 July 2023

- Pioneer7078696 contributionsVery informative and fun too. Put it on your list.We were restricted on time and wanted an explanation in English and tasting of Marsala wine, so we phoned late afternoon on the off-chance. Silvia explained that they had a Hungarian group booked in the next morning, but she would explain in English. All worked perfectly. We had a tour and explanation of the production process followed by the cellars, then into the main building for a tasting and food. 14 wines were opened for tasting with a generous quantity and choice of foods to accompany each wine ending with an Almond and 3 Marsala wines. Whilst the wines were being explained to the group we sat outside in their sunny courtyard and immediately the owner’s wife appeared, checked that we were ok and offered a glass of Vermouth and roasted Almonds. When it came to our tasting the experience was very enjoyable. Silvia is very knowledgeable on the wines, has excellent English and is very enthusiastic. We were not hurried but made to feel welcome and food was available for each wine. A very enjoyable experience throughout. The owner, Silvia and all the ladies who supported the event were excellent company and made it feel like a treat. Give it a try.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 13 November 2023
- Denise A5 contributionsDelicious tastingWe had a 45 minute tour of the wine making facility and tufo cellar in the basement, followed by an excellent tasting of about 12 wines accompanied by local snacks. Really loved the oiled bread with herbs, the goat cheese, and orange blossom honey. Our guide, Sylvia took great care of us and also kept our young daughter entertained while we did the tasting. I particularly liked the vermouth, wine with almond aroma, and grape must. The moscato paired well with the dried grapes, and the wine with almond aroma paired well with the almond biscuits. 😋Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten 23 February 2024
