Impressive inside and out, beautiful artwork, as you look up to the ceiling there are more sculptures in little alcoves. Beautiful stained glass windows. The Duomo di Leece has it all, for 2 euros you can go down into the crypt.
The duomo is certainly a fine building, and if you haven't seen enough of Italian churches, then by all means go. It's nice enough, but doesn't have the impact (of course) of the bigger churches of Rome, Florence, Milan etc. That comparison may be a...More
