Probably the nicest city to visit in Puglia. But that is a difficult thing to say as they are mostly very nice and full of historic quarters.

Beautifully restored. Free entry. Convenient location. This is a good way to spend 20-30 minutes out of the sun.

It’s not one of the most beautiful duomos in Italy, however, being in Lecce it worth a Visit. It’s in the center of the old city so if you walk around Lecce you will certainly pass by.

It appears no expense was spared in creating a beautiful cathedral with the carvings from the local stone. It is soft enough to permit intricate work on the surface.
