The earthquake really damage most buildings in the piazza. Lucky they are all under construction. To preserve history is so important and now one can witness progress in a positive way. The buildings are still beautiful, just under construction.
Unfortunately the duomo is still closed, the other church on the piazza has one small room open as a chapel of remembrance for victims of the earthquake and as you scan there is scaffolding everywhere. But there is a certain vibrancy nonetheless - the view...More
