If you get a chance to see this beautiful duo o don’t miss it. Also travel to Monreale outside of Palermo to see another jaw dropping mosaic church.

The mosaics inside are beautiful and well worth a visit, yet just a foretaste of what awaits at Monreale; if you can't get to Monreale, definitely visit this church. We also sat in the central square gazing for hours at the exterior while sipping prosecco...More

This duomo has beautiful mosiacs. We had the opportunity to see it's "arch rival" in Palermo to compare. This one is smaller but still quite nice. It's located in a picturesque piazza under the mountain.

The atmosphere was completely Italian. The surrounding cobblestone lanes - all accessible via car - sort of. Lots of photo ops and shopping available. Lots of people watching too. A great walking experience.

Visited the Duomo today with friends. It is a nice church but nothing special. Has some nice mosaic pictures inside.

Marvelous example of Sveve architecture, situated in a pictoresque little city, only 50 miles from Palermo. Worth a visit.

Worth visiting - and the cloister, which is to the left of the cathedral if you're looking from the main square

Plenty of other more interesting sites to visit in Cefalu and Sicily. Don't go out of your way to visit this cathedral.

One of the three UNESCO cathedrals to visit. This building has an air of a fortress about it as it is so large and strong. Inside the pillars down the aisles look massively tall. The decor upto the apse and the altar is quite austere...More

Hi, Drive (or take a bus trip) to the "Marsala Cantine Pellegrino Winery" in Marsala where, besides trying their wine, you will see three beautiful examples of Sicilian carts in their display area. Enjoy.
