Visited Caserta War Cemetary today to pay respects to my uncle who was killed WW2. It is with mixed feelings of pride and sadness that I never met him as I am sure he and all those that sacrificed lives for future generations would never be forgotten. Their final resting place is being tended to beautifully on a daily basis by Alberto who is employed by CWGC. My thanks to him and others like him. Extremely peaceful and worthwhile spending a short time here to say thank you.

Beautiful Cemetery immaculately looked after and somewhat of an oasis in the area it is located. The Groundsman was very helpful in helping me locate the exact grave. A man who died at 30 some 74 years ago - Not forgotten by his family.

We visited caserta war cemetery on Remembrance Sunday to lay a poppy wreath on my grandads final resting place. It's the second time we have visited.the cemetery is located next to the public cemetery on the outskirts of caserta town. The cemetery is absolutely immaculate and Very moving place to visit.if anyone is in the area of caserta I would recommend 20 mins time out and pay there respects to the fallen who lie here.we took a taxi from Naples to caserta for convenance but you could travel it via train then local bus or taxi.also not far from palace of caserta.hats of to cwgc for maintaining the cemetery .

We found it very moving when visiting this cemetery, it is very well maintained. As Australians, we tend to look for our own first. There were nine here, such a long, long way from home. We walked from the train station and it is a 9 kilometre round trip.
