There are plenty of reviews about this place so I won't go further. It's mandatory once you come here.

Really incredible!

I've visited gardens abroad (like suzhou and Shanghai) but no one is like this garden. It's stunning! And really well cured (and clean); we were speechless, so I'll let my photos speak for me

A bonus!

This English garden was constructed a long-time back, and has developed into a super place for an hour’s stroll.

We visited this morning, after walking all along the water features in the main Reggia garden, gawking and taking photos.

Ms Venus, in her own pond is poised and resplendent. The gardener’s house is in need of repairs, but the gardens themselves are well maintained, including two fellows with whipper-snippers working away at the edges of a couple of ponds. A couple of the Cyprus trees are enormous. There are many variants of plants from around the world - apparently at one time it was used to select and fine-tune garden vegetables for the palace.

A bit hidden away, but well worth seeking out!

The first Italian landscape garden.

Realized by Carlo Vanvitelli and the gardener John A. Graefer, made on request of the Queen Maria Carolina od Austria, it had to stand comparison with the garden in Versailles. You can find many exotic plants, streams, ponds and stunning fountains.

Nice to wonder around, with some hidden treats, but not overwhelming

We got the must to the top of the park for €2.50 each (it's a long walk) and it was nice to all around here. Remind us a lot of National a Trust gardens on a grand scale. Some much needed shade on a hot day, recommend using Google Maps to find your way around and see the best spots.

Same as an english garden with disrepair and no signage
Nov 2017 • Couples
This is not worth the effort of the entrance fee.If you are British you will have seen it all before and some parts of these gardens.I.e the covered walkways are positively dangerous and should be closed as the roof is falling in.
Signage and maintenance are very poor

Beautiful place for a walk
Nov 2017 • Couples
Wear good walking and enjoy the unique landscape. Your walk starts uphill and gently goes lower. You visit a lush area with water garden near the top. If you walk to the lowest part of the garden you must walk back uphill to get back to the only exit. Worth the effort. Many beautiful old trees. Not very much in bloom in November, but still a wonderful visit. A bus can take you back and forth to the Royal Palace, for 2.5 E, or walk if you want some extra exercise. You can spend 2-3 hours here if you walk , and don’t take the bus.

Quiet Place to Escape
Aug 2017 • Couples
The English Gardens, with their side paths and quiet places under the trees were beautiful and spectacular. People will enjoy the interesting and unique plants and the water features. We went there during a summer rainstorm, but enjoyed the walk nonetheless.

Impressive, but hot by the month of June

The area of these garden stretch pretty far. So judge whether you have the time for this walk. Still it can be good place to relax a bit especially in the late afternoon. I would certainly buy tickets on line, otherwise you will be discouraged. Many Italians, literally from all over Italy, come to this attraction.
