Difficult to review as not the best of castles you can visit. The signage around was unhelpful and nothing to really engage. The cafe at the top looked uninviting as well. Saying this though if you are in Brescia then you should definitely visit for...More

I didn't visit the museum but I enjoyed walking around the grounds (which is totally free). There are some nice little corners to explore and some good photo opportunities. The uphill walk wasn't difficult but i would avoid it on a hot summer day. A...More

There are a lot of steps to get to the top but well worth it as the views are stunning , we stopped just before the top where there was a beautiful bar (near a car Park)

Really appreciated the fact that the essential parts of the castle are basically a public park. You can walk all the way up and enjoy the view, the beautifully preserved ramparts, tower, draw bridge etc even after hours when the museums housed on the compound...More
