Dolphin Sighting Tour with Snorkeling

60 reviews
DOLPHIN OBSERVATION

Dolphin Watching is one of the most requested trips. Dolphins have lived free in Golfo Aranci for a long time and now recognize our boats. It starts from the MARINA DI OLBIA port and we make a tour to the Capo Ceraso and Tavolara islands. We visit the Doctor's Beach and stop for snorkeling. . In our excursions we offer a good aperitif on board based on always fresh Sardinian ingredients. We make numerous stops to enjoy the beautiful sea of Sardinia and take many baths to cool off after sunbathing. Furthermore, on the islet of Figarolo, among the Mediterranean scrub, it is often possible to spot the mouflons that permanently populate the island and, in the period of late summer, the gray herons.
We have experience in the field of boat trips for a long time, our excursion is now known as one of the best trips to do in Olbia and Golfo Aranci. We are waiting for you on board. Happy holiday

This 3500-2700 BC neolithic necropolis belonging to the 'Gallura culture' is nicely presented with raised platforms so that you can see over the whole site of four circular graves with 'lithic cists' (big stone boxes). We paid € 11.00 each for 4 sights in the area including a colour brochure in many languages. The free parking is some meters from the site.

Although the place has to be seen in context with the other similar places... it's a bit boring. There is a single sign with "all" information, but no further info. You get a brochure with all similar places in the area when you buy a ticket. Should be free though. Drop in if you are there anyway.

In combination with the other archaeological sites in the area, this makes a very interesting day with features from different periods in prehistory. The place chosen to make a necropole makes all the sense in the world, it feels majestic. The information panel is really good, but if you want to enjoy the feel completely, do read up on it. If you do that and you arrive at the scene, the site makes sense, you can see how people from way back must have constructed it and how they must have celebrated life of their loved ones and how they worshipped, stunning!
