This 3500-2700 BC neolithic necropolis belonging to the 'Gallura culture' is nicely presented with raised platforms so that you can see over the whole site of four circular graves with 'lithic cists' (big stone boxes). We paid € 11.00 each for 4 sights in the area including a colour brochure in many languages. The free parking is some meters from the site.…

Although the place has to be seen in context with the other similar places... it's a bit boring. There is a single sign with "all" information, but no further info. You get a brochure with all similar places in the area when you buy a ticket. Should be free though. Drop in if you are there anyway. …

In combination with the other archaeological sites in the area, this makes a very interesting day with features from different periods in prehistory. The place chosen to make a necropole makes all the sense in the world, it feels majestic. The information panel is really good, but if you want to enjoy the feel completely, do read up on it. If you do that and you arrive at the scene, the site makes sense, you can see how people from way back must have constructed it and how they must have celebrated life of their loved ones and how they worshipped, stunning!…
