This is a large, tree filled park high above the city. It is between the Medici fort and the cathedral. Full of young couples, parents and kids, also a nice place to have a drink.

At the top of Arezzo is this stunning park, home to the former fortress, roman ruins of an amphitheater, and even the remains of an original Etruscan wall. It is also home to lovely pines offering welcome shade on a hot day and expansive lawns....More

a wonderful surprise in the park behind the Duomo San Donato is the ancient fortress. Still in the process of uncovering and restoring but rich in history!

Interesting and amazingly well preserved but no markers our information within the fortress to explain what you are seeing. Be sure to take a guided tour if you're truly interested in it.

We walked up to this from the cathederal, it is an amazing fort, the views of the surrounding area is fantastic, there is a great display of modern sculptor and well worth a visit.

The Fortezza (built by the Medici's in the 1500's but on older remains) has just just reopened after years of restoration and is absolutely stunning. The views, which are 360 degrees around Arezzo are so beautiful. Until Oct there is a display of bronze statues...More

Wonderful strolling park. Great for a quiet afternoon to picnic and read! The day we were there is wan't crowded therefore we really enjoyed it!

Beautiful day in Arezzo, the must beautiful city in Tuscany...very rich the history and Fortezza Medicea is fantastic place, confortable, clean and wonderful view in Arezzo
