They ask for a donation when you enter so there is no set entrance fee. However we found the nun at the door to be so funny and charming and the church to be so lovely, we made an additional donation on the way out. We then proceeded to the abbey next door to purchase some of their wonderful almond paste sweets. Definitely a highlight of our visit to Agrigento

Well worth a visit. Interior is superb, sculptures are amazing. NOT connected to museum next door & entry by donation .

Climbed up and up through the town to find this church in a little courtyard. Greeted at the door by a nun and welcomed inside. The church was once the most important in the town. The walls of the nave are decorated with amazing white stuccowork. Not large so it won't take long to wander round but worth a visit.

Extremely old building for sure. Nothing to see inside, horribly looked after... not leaving an impression at all. Not even worth the 4 Eur entree fee.

The highlight of the church are its plaster scenes...polished to resemble marble but in finer detail. Yes, a nun accosted us for an offering at the door but did not seem to notice the change we handed her. She did not give us any further info and seemed put out that we asked about sweets. Also, despite the guidebook write ups, no other parts of the monastery seemed open. And good luck finding it! No guidebook worked. You just need Google maps
