Exquisite architecture, meticulously restored, the details and proportions are so beautiful. Breathtaking temple, the sacredness of the place sings despite the hordes of tourists (many European!). Surely us moderns can't build any better... humbling and transcendent.

Only some columns still stand; however, this temple is part of a whole, so take a look and use your imagination!

The Temple of Dioscuri is one of the seven temples in the valley of the temples at Agrigento. The only standing part is a modern reconstruction, and it's not of much interest.

this one is a reconstruction from in the 1860 or so. How they put things back together from centuries BC in very impressive.

Looks great. Nacient colums 2500 yo temple and sorrounding crowd of people...Agrigento on the hill... Tepmporay and the past meet each other....

This is another temple from the valley of the temples in Agrigento that worth to be seen. All the temples are very interesting.

The second most destroyed temple but very romantic ruins with some details still visible. I wouldn't recommend visiting the Valley of the Temples if you have less than 3 hours of time. The site is just too big and the temples too spread out and...More

One of the lesser temples in the valley complex but still one you must see when visiting. There are a few columns standing but that's about all that's left/

One inside the park you will see this and more. Take your time to walk through (2+ hours) and we highly recommend taking the Valley of the Temples bus tour, tickets bought onboard (€15 adult) and it leaves from Piazzale Aldo Moro Capolinea every two...More
