Dog friendly in the winter, its a pebble beach and not sand, but it is quiet, which is what I like. Cafe and Hotel/Bar overlooking the beach along with public toilets next to the car park.

The walk down and up Is hard and takes a while but when your down it's the most beautiful beach you could ever imagine, a long stretch of sandy beach with clean rolling waves. In the summer it would be fantastic !!!!!!!!!

A great beach for walking the dog, had to be careful of tide times, but when the tide is out you can have a lovely walk, although this is not a huge beach!

Used to love going to the gook for a drink and some quiet time. Seems that pirates have landed and taken over this establishment.....think they should board their boat and return to the waves. A quiet well run sea side retreat has been turned into...More

The area is quite pretty and there is a paved sidewalk all along the road through this tiny town. Waves, water, scenery!

Quite a steep path down to the beach adjacent to the cafe, but it's not far and the sheltered beach is nice an clean. The geology is amazing, at low tide the multi coloured rock pools across to the harbour and sea swimming pool are...More

Drop down by the cafe and then walk along the beach until you hit the old harbour ; you may even walk further along to the crumbling cliffs. Even on windy days the beach below the cafe seemed to be afforded protection ... but the...More

Lots of gorgeous tables outside and they even provide water bowls. The best view ever. I took my dog inside but she is a service animal, however I do believe they are fairly flexible.
