This is a traditional pub with beams and a large fireplace. There is a good range of real ales from the local area. The meals are reasonably priced and they specialise in vegetarian dishes as well as for carnivores. The staff were helpful and friendly

Looks very inviting from out side lovely hanging basket’s,Delightful service inside, nice menu plus a large specials board had difficulty choosing for main course, not expensive, good size portions and deserts were just as difficult to choose as main course. Definitely worth trying.

I love this place. The building is spectacular, the main room being a double height barn style space with a massive fire place. The food is excellent, interesting, well cooked and usually locally sourced. The service is always good and welcoming, and the whole place...More

Came across this place on a trip out. Newly refurbished it's clean, smart and full of character. Food wise the extensive menu made choosing difficult but I was strongly drawn to the Baked Smoked Haddock topped with Welsh Rarebit. This unique combination was extremely tasty...More
