Original bridge crossing the Vezere at Vigeois, built by the English with passing places for pedestrians whilst horse and carts cross. Pretty village with church worth a look, and accommodation overlooking the river.

If you'e passing through Vigeois (and many do on their way to somewhere like Trocje or Pompadour from A20 motorway) then stop off here and take a peek. It is a "look and see" 20 minutes. Yet well worth the delay.
