Had lunch at the new restaurant. Totally totally overpriced. Meal ok. Won't be going back. R250 for 3 small pieces of steak. And a bitesize dessert.

I have always experienced and associated Paul Cluver wines with sophistication and quality wines. The tasting experience was very disappointing: although the staff was friendly, their knowledge on their own wines was horrible. They also had very little to no stock of their own product.

It is a beautiful wine area. The gardens looked beautiful. I really wanted some apple brandy but instead got some great wines! The lady was friendly and helpful.
