Really helpful ferryman, who went out of his way to be really helpful. Coming from East Mersea we had to work out that you park at the country park, and walk to the extremity of the beach, about 20 minutes from the car park.
We came over from Mersey island on foot ferry saving a drive of 40 miles. It was a nice trip across estuary and a regular service in summer connecting brightlingsea with Mersea and point clear.
