Located on the Thoresby Hall estate and set in a courtyard there's plenty to do here. The Military Museum is fascinating and very user friendly being set out in a contemporary style making it light bright and easy to to navigate particularly for the disabled....More

Set just off the main road to Nottingham,this wonderful hall has many things to offer. We spent an afternoon here before going to the hotel for afternoon tea. Well worth a visit.

The only place worth its salts is the gorgeous jewellers unbelievable work. The balance is very ordinary..good enough but nothing special! The cafe was a let down, didn't look like they were bothered at all.....so we left. I reckon we lasted 15 mins maxMore

Called at the courtyard as we were staying beside it at the Thoresby hall hotel, shops were okay not very exciting but worth a visit if your staying in the hotel

We visited the courtyard while staying at Thoresby Hall. It is a nice courtyard with a few shops. It has a cafe where you can buy a drink and food with seating in the courtyard. It has a tourist information centre and a gallery and...More

Out driving to another location and stumbled across this place. Cafes, museums and craft shops, it makes an interesting visit. The gardens and woods are spectacular as our the buildings. Free parking a novelty too!More

Very informative and well presented museum of British Light Cavalry. From its inception to today’s fighting force, every aspect is covered in this old building. Light refreshments available along with arts and craft galleries.
