Thoresby Park, courtyard, museum and Gallery is located in the private Country Estate of Thoresby. Within the Grade 2 listed 18th Century Courtyard is a host of boutique shops along with the renowned Bay Tree Cafe along with the Queens Royal Lancers Military Museum. After a coffee stroll around the acres of parkland and woods, on our easy walking trails taking in the beauty of the ancient Sherwood Forest oak trees and the wildlife that call it home. Or visit on one of our many event days or book your own private event in our dedicated event space. The event venue is also available for training and conferencing, speak to our events team today to discuss how we can help with all your event needs. Very popular and interesting craft shops, loved the David Fowkes Jewellery, excellent coffee shop, unfortunately for us not everything was open.

Lovely courtyard very old worldly, but sorry to see the garden centre, sweet shop and wine shop have now closed, the museum is worth a visit in season and the walks surrounding the courtyard are lovely, very interesting art gallery.

What a shame that the staff in the cafe let this wonderful place down. They are miserable and unhelpful. The good news is, that it is quite the opposite at the cafe, in the antiques emporium at Budby, so we went there instead. I recommend...More

We visited here while staying at Thoresby Hall. This is a lovely complex of gift shops, with a great cafe & military museum too. The museum was shut when we visited on a Saturday, so it probably best to check out opening times in advance...More
