Great educational tour of this famous and expanded/modernised distillery. Exceptionally maintained grounds and properties on the approach to the car park gives a flavour of the craft and care that will surely be afforded to the spirit's distillation and maturation. Knowledgeable guide provided a first...More

Glenlivet is a fantastic distillery with a fascinating background and definitely worth a visit. However we were greeted by Colin who’s character and enthusiasm made us feel very welcome and Keedy our tour guide was equally friendly and enthusiastic and delivered her tour brilliantly. Thanks...More

This was our first visit to a distillery in Scotland. And it was by far the best. The girl giving the tour was the most knowledgeable of any Whiskey tour we took while in Scotland. We learned more here than any of the others. And...More

The cafe was an added bonus for this stop when we arrived ahead of our reservation. We enjoyed the tour, particularly bottling up our samples to enjoy later when we were not driving. While this was more "corporate" than the other distillery we visited --...More

Definitely a destination: Tour buses unloading in car park. Good intro to distilleries if you haven’t been on a tour before, but felt a little corporate. Youngish, but pleasant tour guide. Beautiful, light filled facility. Generous tasting, nice cafe, certainly knows and sells its brand.

Agree with the above. October is often very good weather but if it isn't so good there won't be snow at that time of year

Our silent season this year ran from the end of May to the beginning of July. It is usually around that time but the exact dates vary from year to year according to the extent of the maintenance jobs required.
