Great little railway, very friendly staff price very resonable nice long journey. Very tidy railway no derelict stock everywhere good views. Restaurant was well priced but could do with a healthier option or veggie disc or two.

Had a lovely day out and three trains running with two steam and a diesel, fully signalled with two working signal boxes, the restaurant had great food and the staff were very friendly.

We have taken 100 Reception children to Gartell light railway for the past 2 years. The Gentelmen running the attraction were brilliant and the children all had a super day out. I would highly recommend this!

The Gartell Light Railway is one of the jems in the Narrow Gauge railway world. Partly built on the old Somerset and Dorset lines trackbed, the GLR is a very friendly place and reasonably priced day out, with a decent bacon roll available in the...More
