If you are road tripping to the north part of the island, this ancient statue is worth a look. It is just off the road, near Apollon where there are plenty of cafes near their small harbor for a quick bite. I think some of...More

Having seen it 25 years ago, it is still impressive. It's a bit out of the village and uphill so make sure you do it before lunch.

A nice walk to get there but not overly impressed. While you are there just go and see the little 'cafe' or have a drink! it was surrounded by, what looked like a junk yard. It didn't live up to its name of Paradise!!!!

I've seen a few statues in my time, but this one is around 3,000 years old, and has never been stood erect as it were. It was left unfinished where it lies. Worth stopping to see.

Above the small fishing town of Apollon is the large 10 meter statue lying on the ground looking like something from middle earth It was an easy climb from the main road and worth the effort The small seaside town is also worth a visit
