Delamere forest is the closest natural forest park near me and it has good trails to walk on and trails to ride bikes on. If you fancy a challenge on your bike definitely take the beaten tracks.

There is a local train station actually at Delamere. Not sure of the frequency of the trains though. Hotels not in walking distance, check Northwich, Frodsham or Chester for those.
