We took our 4month old on a walk which was tranquil and relaxing...we luckily found a bench 2 feed him a bottle alfresco style!!! We then went to the shop by the station and got an ice cream,then took a leisurely stroll to the tourist...More

Nice walk, easily accessible paths, however parking is expensive at £6 if staying for more than 3 hours. Not enough disabled parking as spaces had all gone by midday. Not enough benches around the forest and no bags for dog poop. Ended up carrying 2...More

This was a lovely walk with our 14and 11 year old and the dog. Lots of different paths to follow and places to explore in the forest. Den building and tree climbing plus the bonus of a nice cafe at the end of the walk

Got lost several times as there are no relevant signposts other than to the car parks. Walked half way round the lake then decided to go for lunch at the visitor centre, NO SIGNPOSTS anywhere! Wandered for an hour at least before finding it. Very...More

beautiful setting for a walk in the forest. dog and kids have so much fun and then the carriers inn pub is just local for a lovely lunch/dinner

Lol Its near the road along past the Caravan park easiest way to get to it park on right car park. Walk directly across road its that side. Happy hunting.
