Visited here because the Heritage Museum is closed every Monday (👎🏼) I was looking for a 2019 calendar which would feature Bangor, to bring to the U.S. when we go on holiday. The assistant could not have been more helpful - bringing down every calendar...More

The tower house is now the tourist information office in Bangor, which seems very apt. Local leaflets are in the main part of the building, and attractions in the rest of the province are displayed in the tower. The history of the tower is displayed...More

The Tower House was originally Bangor's Custom House. It was built in 1637 by Sir James Hamilton, the area's Scottish Landlord. The building was added to the "List of Buildings of Special Interest" in 1979 and is now protected by the DOE. It now functions...More

One of Bangors landmarks and historical points. Good restaurants nearby and the Marina is opposite. Get a photograph.

This is another original building sitting at the sea front and now houses the Tourist Information Centre - provides loads of information on local events along with quite an extensive offering of locally made gifts - staff are really helpful regarding the local area

Didn't get to see much of this building. The little tourist info and sho inside was quaint and staffed with some friendly Bangorians.,

It's a building that jump into ur eyes. Combining old and new is interesting to watch. I didn't have time to go inside but only ly from outside is enjoyable
